About Hilary Pillette

Hilary Pillette is a Visual and Communication Designer who has helped brand, promote and market Portland's small business community for over eleven years, and Austin Texas for the past four years as a senior designer, web production artist and print production specialist.

Originally from San Francisco, California, Ms. Pillette started her career in technology in Silicon Valley and moved to Portland in 2006 where her father’s side of the family was from. After thirteen years in Portland, Hilary moved to Austin, Texas to be closer to her family. Four years later, she moved back to California and now resides in Santa Rosa.

Through her years of experience working in corporate and small business environments with a wide range of people, from art directors, project managers, web producers, editors and software engineers to artists and entrepreneurs, Hilary has learned how to work smarter rather than harder. She enjoys the process of design; creating initial concepts with the client and seeing how fast she can nail it, to producing the final art and seeing it published in its final form. She is happiest designing logos, product packaging, and using her hand lettering and illustration skills as well as her digital illustration skills for for spot illustrations, animation and infographics.

Outside of work, she enjoys painting, writing, reading, playing guitar and living life to the fullest with friends, family and her two cats.
